Thank you for visiting the Principal’s webpage!
On behalf of the Rancho High School community, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website.
Rancho High School has been a successful learning institution for over 50 years and has established many traditions and legacies. We strive to create a positive and safe learning environment where all students can gain the knowledge required to become productive citizens. Our primary focus is to provide a well-rounded educational experience that not only stresses academics, but also provides for the development of character, community service, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Rancho High School offers a full complement of academic courses. Our students have the opportunity to prepare for post-secondary education through enrollment in Pre-Advanced Placement, Advanced Placement, and Career and Technical Education courses. Students can earn Tech Prep credit if they are enrolled in CTE courses and Dual-Credit in all of the core academic subject areas (English, math, science, and social studies). On any given day, the halls are buzzing with a plethora of activities such as students creating, dancing, performing, and participating in athletics. In our magnet programs, students are learning how to fly and design aircrafts, save lives, and conduct laboratory research.
For almost two decades, Rancho High School’s magnet programs have set the standard for excellence nationwide. Our magnet programs have been recognized by the Magnet Schools of America as a School of Excellence—a difficult recognition to achieve as it is awarded to very few schools across the country. Students that complete their programs of study can earn certifications allowing them to be employable right out of high school. Aviation students earn their Private Pilot’s license, while EMS (Emergency Medical Services) students earn their EMT-Basic.
I encourage you to tour our website often as we will be adding new information daily in order to keep you informed and connected to the Rancho community. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need additional information about Rancho High School.
